После того, как ее сбил бэкдор-пилот ВМС СНГ, Карен снова присоединяется к команде морской полиции в Лос-Анджелесе и возобновляет свою работу в качестве агента под прикрытием. Первый сезон посвящен в первую очередь тайным расследованиям подозрительных убийств и терроризма. В 13 серии Агент Вейл бесследно исчезает. Несмотря на исчерпывающие поиски, агенты не нашли следов.
